Each time you view a Purely Creative web page we may store web server logs which show your IP address – the Internet number used by your machine when connecting to the internet – or the IP address of the web proxy you use. We may also store other information including what you looked at, which browser was used and if your page request was successful.

If you register your details with us for competitions/mailing lists or if you contact Purely Creative through the site, the following information will be collected: your name, age and email address. We may ask for your home address or phone number in connection with competition prizes and/or Customer Services queries.

This data is used purely for statistical purposes. It allows us to access how the site is used and the areas of particular interest, which pages are being requested that no longer exist and how many hits /page requests we get. All of this data will allow us to make improvements to the site.

The original logs are destroyed after a two month period. We will process the logs into statistical form on a daily basis.

We may occasionally use ‘tracking tags’ which are small images on a web page. When you look at a web page containing one of these tags a web log is updated showing this.

We use these to track the traffic on selected areas of the site, in particular Customer Services. Again, this information is used purely for statistical purposes.

We will not share any information collected from your web access log with anyone outside of Purely Creative.

It is possible that we may occasionally supply aggregate statistical information to third companies for statistical analysis purposes only.

Purely Creative will never release information about the activities of an individually identifiable person or IP address except in response to a court order or if we are required to do so by law.
